BAD Customer Service With Chargebacks
I am a B2B business and have an average of 2-3 transactions a month varying anywhere from $100 to $2500. I was with CDG for less than 1 year before I received my first chargeback, and they debited my account the chargeback amount. The customer was completely wrong as I was able to provide complete paperwork showing complete delivery of goods. CDG could not give me an answer as to how long the investigation of the chargeback would take, but in the meantime they put my account on full hold. Needless to say I wanted to find a new merchant service provider since I could not process with CDG and because I was upset that they put my account on hold on my first chargeback case. Well I called CDG to close my account and they warned that if I cancelled my merchant services with them while the chargeback case was still open, there would be an additional 180 day wait after the case was resolved for me to receive my funds back. So I am forced to pay for their services that I cannot use!! So upsetting and such, horrible policies.
